Water Treatment - Tannin

Tannin filters are a great way for removing colour from your water. These filters are created by blending special resins together into a special macro porous resin for removing colour. Along with the filter tank there is a smaller separate tank for salt. Tannin filters use salt as a regenerate, similar to a softener.

Benefits:

  • Low cost in maintenance.
  • Treats the whole house.
  • Relatively compact design.
  • Works automatically (just add salt monthly).

Maintenance:

  • Add salt monthly (1-2 bags per month).
  • Media rebedded every 5-8 years.
