  • Prevents staining in your toilets, sinks and tubs
  • Takes the nasty taste out of your water

Cartridge Filters and Accessories

Cartridge filtration uses the filtration technology of removing solid matter and suspended impurities from a fluid stream by passing it through a variety of microporous filters, ultrafiltration, activated carbon cartridge filters or multimedia cartridge filters.

EDS Pumps carry a variety of replacement cartridge filters ranging in style for the home, whole house, commercial and industrial applications. Our cartridge filters are available in a wide range of sizes, capabilities, and media to remove contaminants, depending on your application.

Carbon Filters

Carbon Filters are an excellent way of removing undesirable chemical contaminants from your water. Its most common application is removing taste present in many chlorinated water supplies, but it can also be used to eliminate certain odours and some colour applications. Our carbon filters are granular activated, which allows for maximum absorption of undesirable chemical contaminants, tastes, and odours. The filters are available in cartridge or media bed format, depending on your needs. Iganics in chlorinated water.

Water Sediment Filters

Sediment filters, whether as cartridges or media bed format, are used to filter and remove suspended particulates like clay, silt, or oxidized iron from a chlorinated system. By removing these particulates, the filter can rid water of the sediment that gives water a cloudy appearance.

Arsenic

Arsenic is a naturally occurring element found in the earth’s crust. As water flows through certain rock formations, the arsenic can dissolve and be carried into underground aquifers, streams or rivers that may be drinking water sources. Arsenic is a health hazard. Drinking water with high levels of arsenic can cause negative health effects.  We are no strangers to Arsenic in drinking water.  Leave it to us to help find the right solution for you.

Media

EDS Pumps carries every type of filtration media you may need for your water treatment system.

Media Filtration: Your Key to Purer, Healthier Water

Filtering water can make it taste cleaner and keep it safe to drink it or use it. While there are many ways to clean water and make it safer, a common and effective way is through filtration using a media-based filter.

Neutralization
Water that is low or high pH can cause a whole host of issues within your home’s plumbing and water-based equipment. It can result in leaks, corrosion and shorten the life of your appliances that use water, such as washing machines, dishwashers, and coffee makers. EDS Pumps can help to Neutralize your water and eliminate these problems.

Corosex/Calcite

Neutralizers are an excellent choice for your water system if you have water that has a low or high pH (range is 6.5-8.5). Low pH is visible as blue/green stains on fixtures and is extremely corrosive to pipe and metal fixtures. Low ph. can also interfere with the effectiveness of other water filtration, such as iron filters. By use of a media bed of corosex/calcite, you can eliminate these problems by neutralizing your water.

Chemical Injection

Soda Ash injection

When your water is hard and you have low pH soda ash injection might be the right solution for your water. We have the tanks and a wide selection of chemical dosing pumps. EDS pumps is here for you and can recommend the right equipment and treatment for your specific water.

Acid Injection

High pH in-home water is treated less than low pH. High pH can produce a soda taste and even cause corrosion in piping and fixtures made with metals such as brass, copper, zinc, aluminum, and iron. Very high pH can also cause chlorination to be ineffective. High pH can be reduced by injecting inject a mild acid into the waterline. It is normally a “point-of-entry” treatment. With wells, the normal place to inject the acid is just before the pressure tank.

EDS Pumps has Stenner chemical dosing pumps to handle high and low-pressure applications. Choose from adjustable and fixed-rate peristaltic and diaphragm dosing pumps.
