What water treatment services do you offer?
We provide full repairs and maintenance for all types of residential and commercial water treatment equipment, including sediment and carbon filters, iron and sulphur filters, UV disinfection systems, water softeners, reverse osmosis systems, and chemical feed systems. We service all major brands.
How often should I replace my water filters?
Filter replacement frequency depends on the type of filter, your water source, and usage levels. As a general rule, sediment pre-filters should be replaced every 3–6 months, carbon filters every 6–12 months, and RO membranes every 2–3 years. We can assess your system and recommend a maintenance schedule that matches your specific conditions.
Do you service and repair water softeners?
Yes. EDS inspects and services all brands and types of water softeners, including resin bed cleaning, regeneration cycle adjustments, brine tank servicing, and salt bridge removal. If your softener is producing hard water, using excessive salt, or showing error codes, we can diagnose and repair the issue.
Can you replace UV lamps and service UV systems?
Yes. We provide complete UV system maintenance including annual lamp replacement, quartz sleeve cleaning, ballast checks, and flow sensor inspection. UV lamp replacement is critical—lamps degrade even if they still appear to glow, and an expired lamp will not provide effective disinfection. We recommend servicing UV systems every 12 months.
What should I do if my water treatment system stops working?
Call us as soon as possible. Water treatment failures can leave your water unprotected or affect system pressure and flow. EDS offers emergency repair services and will dispatch a technician to diagnose and resolve the issue quickly. In the meantime, avoid using water from untreated sources if safety is a concern.
